Then Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot decided to make the mask compulsory to prevent local transmission. Ahmedabad Municipal Commissioner Vijay Nehra said on Sunday that workers would have to wear masks, including those going to public roads, places, groceries, milk, vegetables or malls or petrol pumps and operating managers at Ahmedabad from 6am on Monday.
